Goldberg grew up in New York City. He is a graduate of Goucher
College, where he was one of the first men to attend the formerly
all-women's college. After Goucher, he taught English in
Czechoslovakia and, later, was a researcher at the American
Enterprise Institute in Washington, DC where he currently resides.
