Richard M. Leed Jr., Director of Finance
Richard M. Leed Jr., CPA, serves Young America’s Foundation as the director of finance. He is responsible for overseeing the financial management operation of the Foundation including investment management, cash flow management, stewardship and financial reporting. Rich serves the Foundation by ensuring that the organization’s finances are managed effectively and wisely.
Prior to joining Young America’s Foundation, Rich worked in public accounting where he focused mainly on non-profit audit services. He also worked with the United Way of Buffalo and Erie County as a Loaned Executive, assisting with their annual campaigns.
In addition, he worked in higher education as part of the Student Life department of his alma mater, focusing on campus ministry and large campus-wide events. He also gained a thorough and comprehensive understanding of overall corporate management through his experience with his family’s business, based in his hometown of Buffalo, New York. His duties within the company ranged from manufacturing and production to sales, accounting, and management.
Rich enthusiastically supports the mission of Young America’s Foundation and the principles that the Foundation actively promotes. He is excited to serve the Foundation by combining his skills and knowledge in accounting and finance with his desire to reach today’s young people with conservative ideals. Rich earned his Bachelor of Science in financial management and his Master of Science in accounting degrees from Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia.
