Young America’s Foundation’s Reagan Ranch High
School Conference Features Leading Authors, Professors, Activists, and Others

Santa
Barbara, CA – More
than 120 participants from around the country will attend Young America’s
Foundation’s 5th annual Reagan Ranch High School Conference on March
10 to 12 at the Reagan Ranch Center in downtown Santa Barbara, California.
Confirmed
speakers include Rabbi Daniel Lapin, author of Thou Shall
Prosper: Ten Commandments for Making Money; Lieutenant Colonel
"Buzz" Patterson (USAF, Ret.), author of Conduct
Unbecoming: How Barack Obama is Destroying the Military and Endangering Our
Security; Dr. Burt Folsom, professor of History at
Hillsdale College and author of The Myth of the Robber Barons; Ann
McElhinney, writer and producer of Not Evil Just Wrong; Young
America’s Foundation Vice Presidents Kate Obenshain and Patrick Coyle;
Nonie Darwish, founder of Arabs for Israel and author of Cruel
and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law; Joseph
C. Phillips, actor and author of He Talk Like a White Boy; and
John Barletta, longest serving Secret Service agent under
President Reagan and author of Riding With Reagan; among others.
This
year’s conference, once again generously sponsored by the Richard &
Barbara Gaby Foundation, also includes a viewing of Young America’s
Foundation’s inaugural film, Still Point in a Turning World: Ronald Reagan
and His Ranch. The film, written and directed by Stephen K. Bannon,
is the definitive examination of Ronald Reagan’s beloved ranch and its
personification of his philosophy and values.
The
students will also walk in the footsteps of President Reagan during a special
tour of his beloved ranch, “Rancho del Cielo,” now preserved and protected by
Young America’s Foundation.
“Today’s
high school students know very little about the Great Communicator, and there’s
no better time than now, during the era of Obama’s failed economic policies, to
communicate Reagan’s winning message,” remarked Young America’s Foundation
President Rob Robinson. “The Reagan Ranch High School conference provides
an unparalleled opportunity for young people to learn and be inspired by the
timeless principles of Ronald Reagan.”
Conference
sessions will be streamed online at http://www.yaf.org throughout the conference, and
updates will be posted on our twitter account: @yaf.
