Young America’s Foundation has launched a 10-question economics quiz titled “Are You Smarter than the Obama Administration?” to highlight this administration’s ignorance of free enterprise and entrepreneurship.

Last week, the president declared the private sector is “doing fine.” Last year, he blamed “ATM machines” and “airport kiosks” for unemployment.
The Obama administration’s former chief economist, Austin Goolsbee, has said “Washington isn’t spending too much,” and White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett said that increased unemployment benefits are “healthy” for the economy. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner has even struggled to complete his own taxes—foregoing payroll taxes from 2001 to 2004.
Embarrassing.
Americans, especially in the private sector, aren’t “doing fine,” and this new quiz is a fun way to engage and educate young people on how the economy actually works.
The short quiz covers topics ranging from taxes to ObamaCare, and while the Obama administration’s failures are a serious topic, the quiz is riddled with humor too.
After you take the quiz, make sure to check out and laugh at what all the results mean. For example, if you get 80%: “You got almost all the questions right. The Obama administration should invite you to a beer summit—because even if you were drunk, you could still come up with better economic policies than this administration.”
