  • NCSC2012Young America's Foundation's 35th annual National Conservative Student Conference will be held at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., July 29 to August 3. America's top conservative student leaders from around the country will gather in our nation's capital to hear from the stars of the Conservative Movement.

    A discussion between Boone Pickens and Steve Moore is one highlight of the event. Boone Pickens, a legendary energy expert and the architect of the Pickens Plan, will engage with Steve Moore, senior economics writer and Wall Street Journal editorial board member. There will also be a book panel featuring Regnery Publishing President Marji Ross and Intercollegiate Studies Institute Vice President of publications Jed Donahue.

    Students will hear from leading policy makers including Speaker Newt Gingrich; Congresswoman Michele Bachmann; Congressman Jim Jordan; and Senators Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and Rick Santorum.

    Pediatric neurosurgeon and New York Times bestselling author Dr. Ben Carson will speak at the first of four dinner banquets on "America the Beautiful; Rediscovering What Made This Nation Great."

    The conference will also feature leading academics including Dr. Robert George of Princeton University, Dr. Walter Williams of George Mason University, Dr. Burt Folsom of Hillsdale College, and Dr. Larry Schweikart of the University of Dayton.

    Two conference speakers, Katie Pavlich and James O'Keefe, are under the age of 30 and have already written New York Times bestselling books. Other notable scholars, YAF activists, bestselling authors, and journalists scheduled to speak include Dinesh D'Souza, Rachel Campos Duffy, Catherine Rodriguez, Jonah Goldberg, Ron Robinson, Bay Buchanan, Steve Hayes, Patrick Coyle, Kate Obenshain, and more to be announced.
