During CPAC, the Foundation received great media exposure through Spokeswoman Ashley Pratte’s interviews on NRA News, the Lars Larson Show, and the Dana Show. Our Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) student volunteers were also photographed in the Wall Street Journal.
Pratte was featured on Cavuto regarding the Foundation’s “Millennial March Madness” bracket, which listed the top 16 reasons why young people can’t afford and don’t want Obamacare. She also made an appearance on Fox News’s Huckabee to discuss the Foundation’s latest nationwide poll on young people and their outrage over the NSA’s data collection.
The Santa Barbara News-Press featured Liz Cheney’s address on foreign policy at the Reagan Ranch Roundtable, which was held in conjunction with the Reagan Ranch High School Conference.
Also during the Reagan Ranch High School Conference, C-SPAN’s BookTV recorded and later aired author Jim Lacy’s remarks about his new book, Taxifornia.
In late March, the YAF chapter at the University of Virginia reached out to Young America’s Foundation because their campus was hosting a “Condom Olympics.” The outrageous story was featured by the Daily Caller.
Spokeswoman Ashley Pratte also had three op-eds published on Townhall.com, where she is now a frequent contributor. The op-eds covered the topics of American exceptionalism, millennials’ unwillingness to enroll in Obamacare, and the White House’s extension of the enrollment deadline.
