Jessica Jensen 2013 Headshot

Jessica Jensen, Assistant to the President

Jessica is responsible for assisting the president of the Foundation with daily duties, writing and designing monthly reports for the board of directors and our supporters, coordinating board meetings, and managing and interacting with Foundation supporters, staff, and students. She also is the editor of Libertas, the Foundation's magazine.

Jessica is a graduate of The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. While at St. Scholastica, she was involved in her campus conservative club and student government. In 2003, Jessica participated in the Washington Semester at American University where she interned in the Office of Media Affairs at the White House. Jessica graduated summa cum laude from St. Scholastica in 2004 with a degree in English and minors in political science and economics.

Jessica first became involved with the Conservative Movement in high school, when she volunteered with several local races. In college, she helped organize events hosting community leaders and also wrote editorials in her local and school papers advocating conservative ideas.  Jessica became involved with Young America's Foundation upon attending the annual Thomas Phillips student luncheon at CPAC in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining the Young America's Foundation staff, Jessica served as a national field director for the College Republican National Committee, managing a staff of 13 as they recruited young conservatives and helped provide grassroots volunteers during the 2004 election cycle. After her time there, Jessica worked as director of public relations for Accuracy in Media and Accuracy in Academia. She and her husband, Austen, currently reside in Washington, D.C., with their son, Jackson.
