Immediately following Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert's Restoring Sanity and/or Fear
Rally, the mainstream media exploded with reports that it was larger than Glenn
Beck's Restoring Honor Rally.
Blogs, newspapers and TV pundits all reported that Stewart's rally had over twice the

The only problem with this image? It uses CBS estimates to guesstimate the size of Beck's rally. It fails to recognize that the Parks Police said at least 300,000 people were at the Rally to Restore Honor. So keeping that in mind, here is an adjusted infographic:

Anyone who actually attended the rally would tell you that there were hundreds of thousands of people there easily. This infographic is much fairer, given that both rallies were indeed very large.
