Young America's Foundation was pleased to give author and activist David Horowitz a Lifetime Achievement Award during the National Conservative Student Conference this summer in Washington, D.C. Horowitz has spoken at hundreds of campuses through the Foundation's campus lecture program and has worked tirelessly (since his conversion from the Left) to advance freedom among young people through his writing, initiatives, activism, and other activities.
During the banquet, Senator Jeff Sessions and Heritage Foundation President Dr. Ed Feulner made remarks to the banquet to congratulate Mr. Horowitz, and Congressmen Bachmann, Kingston, Royce, and Senator Kyl sent videos. Letters were read from Adam Meyerson of Philanthropy Roundtable, Jay Nordlinger from National Review, and Morton Blackwell of Leadership Institute.
