OK guys, we admit it – President Obama really is a rock star after all. Let us explain.

In 1993, America was in love with the one-hit-wonder rap group Tag Team. Their one hit? “Whoomp, There It Is.”

While Tag Team may be long gone, their song is getting some more attention. It appears that a young Barack Obama may have made a brief cameo in the “Whoomp” music video.

The evidence is strong. President Obama is a fan of hip hop, and he is left-handed, just like the fly dude in the video. The guys over at Red Eye took the evidence further and showed that the “music video Obama” and President Obama have identical teeth. (Watch the Fox News Red Eye Segment here.)

Billboard lists “Whoomp” as one of the “All Time Top Songs.” Now that President Obama may have been part of the video, it may achieve elite status.

But before you run out to get the Tag Team cassette, keep this in mind – the White House quickly denied it was President Obama in the video. Others have contested that the facial features between the two do not match up. (The biggest evidence against this being a young President Obama can be found here.)

So did President Obama take a break from teaching law and writing his first book to appear in the music video? We cannot say. What do you think?
