• Leftists at CommencementPresident Obama has made a point of targeting young people. During the campaign and continuing through his presidency, Barack Obama has held rallies repeatedly on college campuses to push his socialist agenda.

Now his administration is looking beyond college campuses and is targeting high schools as well. Tomorrow, the White House will announce which high school "wins"a commencement address featuring President Obama for their Race to the Top High School Commencement Challenge. Furthermore, the five other finalists will receive another high-ranking official from the Obama administration.

Leftists speaking at commencement is nothing new. In fact, over the last 17 years, Young America's Foundation has been documenting how liberal speakers dominate graduation ceremonies. Without fail, a disproportionate number of commencement speakers at our nation’s top colleges and universities have been liberal ideologues, big donors to liberal causes, and members of the “drive-by” media.

Last year, after surveying the commencement speakers at America's Using U.S. News & World Report’s ranking of the nation’s top 100 colleges and universities, Young America’s Foundation found only five recognizable to barely-recognizable conservatives at the nation's leading universities.

Stay tuned because Young America's Foundation will announce the results of this year's survey shortly.

    • Yeah, I have been paid. I am working with a BCS scohol right now on a helmet for them. I have consulted with adidas, Va Tech the hokie bird helmet was my idea (would you like a copy of the emails), Illini, arena teams, semi pro teams, bowling stuff, cycling stuff, etc Just because you don't think something is a good idea doesn't mean that it isn't. All helmet design is slapping something on the side of a helmet. The only catch is now you have to do something people haven't thought of before. It is not the designers job to decide what design is the best. His job is to give the client options. My job as a designer isn't to sit back in my small bubble of thought that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy because it looks like something you are used to. If you want old and boring go cheer for Penn State. If you want to join the rest of college football in the new recruiting war which is uniform swag you better have ten guys just like me coming up with all kinds of shit. You seem to be an expert so why don't you send me your concepts and I will give you a column. Oh, I almost forgot to ask. How old are you? I ask this of every person who thinks helmet or uniform designs should stay the same because if you 16 and 4 star recruit I will listen to what you have to say. If you are 44 old, fat, and never played above the jv at high scohol I don't care what you think your scohol should do they are not recruiting you to play.

    • to Michael after he got home. “You know what makes me sad? That you will never be able to say of me, ‘But she never complained.’” You put into words soihtemng I think every day I don't want to be a complainer, yet I find myself doing it anyway.Seriously, this fits right in with my There has to be more to life than this mind-set today. :-)And then I tell myself God expects us to work to His glory no matter where we are. I remember I could be in a jail cell working for His glory like Joseph after being imprisoned for soihtemng I didn't do I don't have it so bad after all. euihak [link=]xanzjhy[/link]
