In celebration of the Roe v. Wade decision's anniversary, the
"Center for 'Reproductive Rights'" issued a tasteless video titled,
"Happy 40th Anniversary, Baby." Ironic that a
group that promotes abortion can use the word "baby" and not feel
the slightest bit bothered by it.
Only those with a blatant disregard for human life would
find a way to sexualize the anniversary that celebrates the murder
of innocents, but what is especially ironic is that they got a
black actor to play the role of the seducer. According to CNS
news, a federal report from 2007 indicated that of the 87,527
abortions that took place in New York City, almost have of
them were black despite the black community only being 25% of the
population. The same story claims that in a 2009 report,
nearly 60% of the aborted babies were black. It's no wonder
then that Pastor Clenard Childress, founder of blackgenocide.com,
says that "the most dangerous place for an African-American is in
Fox News and the Daily Caller featured a story yesterday about
how a pro-life display erected by the DePaul University chapter of
Young Americans for Freedom had been vandalized. How telling
it is that the vandals treated the freedom of expression the same
way the left treats the unborn-throwing it in the trash.
For our part, members of the Young America's Foundation team
will participate in Friday's March for Life, and then two of us,
myself and Kate Edwards, will be exhibiting at the Students for
Life of America National Conference on Saturday. We're
looking forward to taking a stand for those that can't.
