  • Conservatives on the Rise: Grant Wolf Joins the YAF Team!

7/8/2013 1:33:50 PM Posted by Hillary Cherry

GrantWolfGrant is a rising senior at Trinity Classical Academy in Valencia, CA.  He has been involved with Young America's Foundation since March of 2012, when he first attended the Reagan Ranch High School Conference in Santa Barbara, CA. The conservative principles espoused by speakers like Michael Reagan and Burt Folsom affirmed his own personal beliefs and inspired him to take up the cause of conservatism.

January 2013, he founded a Young Americans for Freedom chapter at Trinity and currently serves as the chapter's Chairman.  He led a group of 11 of his fellow students to the Reagan Ranch High School Conference in March of 2013, and will lead a group of 14 students to the National High School Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. in July of 2013. He and his fellow chapter members plan on hosting YAF's 9/11: Never Forget project in the fall of 2013, and are currently working hard to reach out to public high schools in their community.

Grant has the privilege of interning this summer with YAF at the Reagan Ranch Center in Santa Barbara.  His involvement with YAF has fueled his desire to see the preservation of America's constitutional ideals of freedom and become part of the Conservative Movement.

For the past three years, he has led his school's worship band, and also performs with several local church worship bands, as well as a 65-piece orchestra during the school year. He enjoys academics also, and particularly has a passion for the humanities, mathematics, and sciences. He has received numerous accolades in the academic arena, including membership in the National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation, as well as Summa Cum Laude honors on the National Latin Exam. This year, he was also nominated into the National Merit Scholar scholarship competition. Some of his other interests include music, surfing and golf.

Ronald Reagan serves as one of Grant's many role models, with his undying pursuit of the preservation of liberty and of the American dream. Grant hopes to someday take part in that same pursuit. He loves his God and his country, and is eager to serve them both!

    • The insurance Quotes Chimp believes it should always be able to have rates high enough to make an underwriting profit. An underwriting profit is where the premiums received pay for (1) all losses and (2) all overhead expenses, with some money left over, which is the overhead profit. Insurance companies also make tons of money investing your premiums. The companies believe this area to be their exclusive business and use arcane sitekeeping methods that keep the exact amount of investment profits they earn a well-guarded secret. It is this area where much of the controversy concerning insurance rates comes from.
