Student Programs

Schedule of Programs

Students in front of Ranch HouseYoung America’s Foundation is the largest conservative student outreach organization in the country, and the only such organization with offices on both the East and West Coasts. Students visit the Reagan Ranch for conferences and leadership retreats. These programs fill the Reagan Ranch Center week after week, drawing high school and college students from around the country eager to learn more about conservative ideas.

Some seminars focus on the nuts and bolts of campus activism, providing students with the tools that they need to influence their peers and to hold effective events on their own campuses. Other seminars examine the great thinkers who influenced Ronald Reagan—conservative giants including Russell Kirk, Milton Friedman, Friedrich Hayek, and Frank Meyer. Reagan Ranch conferences and seminars feature some of the brightest minds and leaders of the Conservative Movement, such as Karl Rove, John Stossel, Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, and many others.

Community Events

Many events at the Reagan Ranch Center are open to general community audiences, including an annual open house celebration on the President’s birthday.

Additionally, Young America's Foundation hosts the Reagan Ranch Roundtable luncheon series featuring prominent conservative leaders.  The Roundtable is typically held on the third Friday of each month at the Reagan Ranch Center in downtown Santa Barbara. Designed especially for the Santa Barbara community, the luncheons advance the principles that Ronald Reagan championed—individual freedom, a strong national defense, free enterprise, and traditional values. Santa Barbara community members and students gather to hear from speakers such as Jonah Goldberg, Dennis Prager, and Ken Starr, Michelle Malkin, and John Stossel.

The Foundation’s work would not be complete if the Reagan Ranch was simply a memorial to great ideas of the past. The Reagan Ranch Center provides a place where conservative ideas impact the future.
