  • Conservatives on the Rise: Eduardo Joins the YAF Team!

6/10/2013 3:08:32 PM Posted by Hillary Cherry

ED BIO PIC 22Eduardo Miranda is serving as a Sarah T. Hermann Scholar at Young America's Foundation's headquarters this summer. He comes to YAF from Southern California, by way of New York, where he attends college. Born and raised around Orange County, California, his parents gave him a conservative foundation to build upon. Coming from an immigrant family, Eduardo grew up with tremendous reverence to freedom and the opportunities it affords.

Eduardo was fist involved in 2010 when he interned for a local conservative group.

After a year of college in California, he joined the Army Reserves, which, apart from the rigorous training, allowed him to meet people from all corners of the United States. He returned from his training to California to complete his education but had more experiences in mind when decided to head east in search of new adventures in New York City.

He currently studies politics, philosophy, and economics at The King's College, located a block from the New York Stock Exchange. Eduardo is also involved in Mock Trial, baseball, and writing for King's paper, the Empire State Tribune. He spends his spare time watching reruns of William F. Buckley's Firing Line, reading books of all colors, and cheering on his favorite soccer team, Bayern Munich, with his fan club in New York City.
