Rowlynda is a senior at the University of California, San Diego.
She is majoring in political science and minoring in photography.
Rowlynda was introduced to Young America's Foundation (YAF) as a
sophomore in high school when she attended a high school conference
at the Reagan Ranch. Since then she has attended both the 2012 and
the 2013 National Conservative Student Conferences in Washington,
D.C., and the 2013 "Road to Freedom Seminar" in Santa
In 2009, she completed the "911: Never Forget Project"
at her high school. Since then, she has helped to complete the
project at the University of California San Diego and the
University of San Diego. Rowlynda is currently active in her campus
conservative club serving as the vice chair of public relations,
focused on photography and social media. In the past she has helped
to host Young America's Foundation speakers, including Ben Shapiro
and Ann McElhinney at the University of California, San Diego.
Rowlynda will serve as the University of California, San Diego
Young Americans for Freedom chair next year and is excited to
continue activism on campus.
Rowlynda grew up on a fourth generation cattle ranch in the
Santa Ysabel Valley of San Diego County. She enjoys working on the
ranch, spending time with her family, hunting (deer, turkey, wild
pig, and dove), surfing when in La Jolla, and practicing yoga.
Rowlynda is a passionate conservative and excited to spread
Young America's Foundation's mission to other students from around
the country. After amazing experiences in D.C. and falling in love
with Rancho Del Cielo, she is excited to intern for Young America's
Foundation this summer.
