HERNDON, VA - Young America's Foundation
(YAF) has released new poll findings*, with 53% of young people
between the ages of 18-24 outraged by the NSA data
collection. Millennials live in an age of instantaneous
technology where they have access to an entire world of information
at their fingertips. Young people value their privacy and are
concerned with recent federal government scandals.
The poll also found that 50% of young people are bothered by the
lies surrounding Obamacare and 46% are upset by the IRS targeting
of groups and organizations that disagree with President
Millennials are concerned with a constellation of issues that
have plagued the federal government over the past year.
Overall, 62% of young people are less confident in the federal
government after the botched rollout of Obamacare. Obamacare
along with these recent scandals are having a serious impact on
young people's perception of the administration as well as an
unfavorable view of big government programs.

*the polling company, inc./WomenTrend conducted a nationwide
online survey of 1,000 adults between the ages of 18 and 24 on
behalf of Young America's Foundation from December 27, 2013 to
January 6, 2014. The margin of error for the study is +/- 3.1
percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
